Scout Smith-O'Leary

Founder & Head Relationship Therapist

Scout is a certified practicing counsellor under PACFA - Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. She holds a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Australian College of Applied Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies from The University of Sydney. 

 

​Scout has worked for over a decade in adult education. She delivers informative relationship workshops and conscious speed dating events across the state. Furthermore, she offers specialised counselling for those seeking support with ethical non-monogamous dynamics. Her practice is informed by PCT, compassionate inquiry, psychodynamic, existential, Gottman and Imago therapeutic modalities. 

 

Scout worked at South Pacific Private Treatment Centre which afforded her rich exposure, experience and training across a multitude of comorbid presentations including addiction, alcoholism, depression, anxiety and trauma.

 

As an avid educator and author, Scout continues to teach and write on subjects such as love, intimacy, authenticity, connection, romance and sex. You can find her monthly column in The Tawny Frogmouth Magazine distributed monthly across Sydney's Northern Beaches. 

Eliza McCann

Relationship Therapist

Eliza is a certified practicing counsellor under PACFA - Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. She holds a Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Australian College of Applied Psychology.

Working as a therapist in the outpatient department at South Pacific Private Treatment Centre in Curl Curl has given Eliza a deep understanding of addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Her extensive experience spans multiple hospitals where she has facilitated outpatient programs incorporating CBT, DBT, and ACT therapeutic approaches, developing expertise in both individual and group settings.

Eliza is deeply passionate about love and relationships. She previously worked as a sex education facilitator. She has a sound knowledge of developmental trauma, attachment theory and codependence, and the intersection of these and how they create issues in adult relationships. 

 

Eliza's strength lies in her ability to create a safe, supportive environment for clients processing trauma. She is dedicated to empowering individuals as they navigate relationship challenges and reconnect with their authentic selves. With compassion and evidence-based techniques, Eliza guides clients toward meaningful change and personal growth.
