I have 3 white male, Christian friends who are each married to an Asian woman. The women are from Japan, China, and thes, respectively. The phenomena of white Christian males marrying Asian females is largely because of how popular Christianity is becoming in many Asian nations. In South Korea and the Phillipines in particular, American Christian guys can find a plethora of Christian women to meet and marry.

Yes it happens, I know a few men at my church that have done this. It is a wrong thing to do and it is hard to respect these men that have bought their wives. It doesn’t seem Christlike to me.

I don’t know why, personally I think they are crazy. I think it is totally wrong to basically “buy” a woman from Asia when there are single Christian women right around them.
This has happened at my church and it is just not right.
I have noticed also that unfortunately they have the woman do a lot of the work around the house including mowing lawns, wood, other yard work. Not right at all and not fair to the women.
P.S. None of the 3 men at my church that have done this are in the military, all 3 are white men, all 3 married women from Asia.

I have to agree with you, I know several men who have done this and do not understand myself. I feel it is very wrong and not fair to the women.

And yet, I don’t know a single one, I wonder how that happened? I go to one of the largest churches in this country, and don’t know a single white man with a mail-order bride or an immigrant bride.

You’d think with “so many” that I’d know at least one.
