I’ve been there. You should tell your parents. When I started talking to someone I told my parents I was talking to him, and telling them a little bit about him. After awhile i started talking to him on the phone. (I highly recommend this, so you know who he really his.) Aslo, don’t go to see him without company, and meet him in a public place.
