What’s the Best and Easiest way to get a “Mail-Order Bride”?
All of my personal reasons for wanting to do so aside, does anyone have any experience with getting a foreign bride? I’d like to try this out or at least look into it. For the sake of this question we’ll assume country of origin is China.
Reasons aside, I have a few concerns:
1) Price: How much are we talking here?
2) Language/Culture Barrier: How hard is it to get over this hump?
3) How can I ensure that she won’t just marry me, then get a divorce to get citizenship and half my stuff?
4) Reputable Contact: I’ve seen companies that try to set me up with “foreign brides” but no way to tell if they’re legitimate. How do I know I’m not talking to an inmate in Jersey?
As to my reasons, I’d like to find a lady who grew up in a traditionalist culture. I’m sick of american women who only want to go out and party and treat relationships like a game. I’d like to be married by the time I’m 30, and I’m sick of playing around. It sounds psychotic, but if I have to pay her family to get a wife, so be it.
